GEO SUPER
GEO Super is twenty-four hour sports channel, launched by GEO Network in September 2006. Programming content includes variety of sports from around the world, focusing mainly on cricket, with a secondary focus on boxing, football and field hockey. Geo Super is also licensed to broadcast Twenty20 cricket matches.

Geo Super covers all major events in the cricketing world, boxing, hockey, football and tennis. Events like The Ashes, ICC Cricket World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy, IPL and Pakistan Boxing League to name a few. Recently, in collaboration with Pakistan Football Federation, Geo Super launched the Geo Super Football League competition involving the 5 big cities of Pakistan having their own football clubs in a league format competition for the betterment of football in Pakistan. Since Geo Super is a Pakistan based sports channel, it has focused on the domestic sports in the country and has aired events like RBS Twenty20 Cup 2007-08 and RBS Twenty20 Cup 2008-09, RBS Pentangular Cup 2008-09 One Day, 52nd National Badminton Championship, 34th National Snooker Championship, 2nd Ranking Snooker Championship, Pentangular 6 Red Snooker Team Series, Shandur Polo Cup 2008, MAC Kyokushin, Spring Blossom Polo Festival, 16th National Skiing Championship, Super Football League (SFL) and many others and will air more of the domestic sports in the future.

STAR CRICKET

Part of t he ESPN-STAR network, STAR Cricket is a 24-hour cricket channel targeting I ndian audiences owned by STAR TV. A channel showcasing first-class cricket action from ar ound the globe, it broadcasts live and prerecorded internation al and regional cricket events as well as programming customised for the Indian audience, including cricket news update, magazine and reality shows. It is the spin-off cricket sports channel of STAR Sports.

STAR SPORTS

STAR Sports is a cable sports network owned by STAR TV and ESPN. It shows sports programs. In partnership with ESPN, its corporate name is ESPN STAR Sports. They are the official Asian station of the Barclays Premier League. It is available in Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and other Asian territories.

On 1 January 2007, the logo was changed at 12:00 midnight, its design similar to those of STAR World and STAR Movies.

AL JAZEERA

Al Jazeera (Arabic: الجزيرة‎ al-ǧazīrah IPA: [æl dʒæˈziːrɐ], literally, "The Island," abbreviating "The [Arabian] Peninsula"[note]) is headquartered in Doha, Qatar. Initially launched as an Arabic news and current affairs satellite TV channel with the same name, Al Jazeera has since expanded into a network with several outlets, including the Internet and specialty TV channels in multiple languages. Al Jazeera is accessible in several world regions and is owned by Qatar Media Corporation.

The original Al Jazeera channel's willingness to broadcast dissenting views, for example on call-in shows, created controversies in the Arab states of the Persian Gulf. The station gained worldwide attention following the September 11, 2001 attacks, when it was the only channel to cover the war in Afghanistan live from its office there.

EXPRESS NEWS

Express News is an Urdu language Pakistani television news channel launched on January 1,

2008. It is owned and run by the country's third largest Urdu daily, Daily Express. The owners of the channel, Lakson Group, launched 'Express 24/7', a 24-hour Pakistani English news channel on Februa ry 5, 2009 .Express News has becom e the second most-watched news channel after Geo News.Express Media Group is planning to launch a complete entertainment channel. It was announced at Express family festival in Lahore on February 19, 2010.

DUNYA NEWS

Dunya News is an Urdu language news and current affairs television channel from Pakistan.Dunya in English means "World". Since its launch in 2008, the channel have been giving strong competition to the other news channels in the country. Dunya News is now available throughout Pakistan on local cable operators. The headquarters of the channel are located at Abbot Road, Lahore.

GEO NEWS

Geo News is a Karachi-based Pakistani news channel, fully owned and operated by Jang Group. The channel started its broadcasting in November 2005 and has millions of Urdu-language viewers around the world.
